The BackBeat was a short lived project after the Freeway break-up. The groups lineup was:

• Dan Greer: Guitars, Keyboards and Vocals
• Michael Longenecker: Guitars and Vocals
• Phil Rhodes: Percussion and Vocals

As a group we played several gigs for about a year before disbanding.
